    our next event will be held at heds 7515 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA right before memorial weekend in may on friday 23rd, 2025

  • why are there requirements to submit music?

    this event is highly curated and is not considered an open mic. we are here to support and uplift artists but we want to see that you are investing time and energy into yourself so that we can build upon your foundation, we offer alot to our selected artists therefore its ideal to cater to artists who take music seriously

  • what does la unplugged offer each creative?

    we offer our artists live footage of their set in with our in-house band in high quality formatting, and an interview curated differently for each artist for easy self-promo on socials + VIP ticket privileges

    we offer our team constant promotion via site and live stream+ our in house team shirts have qr codes with a link to each team individual members work, we want you to get discovered and booked no gatekeeping allowed, we create learning opportunities to provide experience for any creators looking to build a solid portfolio without dedicating 30 hours a week at a 9-5

    we offer our creators supporting us at each event a free gift regardless of ticket choice and a safe refreshing space to network with genuine people in the industry with experience that are willing to provide real opportunities/ other creatives looking to collaborate on future projects with no hidden motive. + a really cool environment to eat, smoke and be surrounded by raw art

  • When was this started?

    the idea itself has been in development for 3 years since 2022. finally, we are bringing it to life in city of art. our next event is actually our first event as well. we look forward to growing our team and starting something great

  • if i don't get pick to perform after submitting did i just waste my money?

    no. we don’t just make you pay to submit and wonder why you weren’t chosen we provide tailored feedback to every single artist that submits in real time on or weekly live stream. just tune in and get a real opinion from actual industry vets

  • where does your funding come from?

    its all us, the founders. we sell tickets and take a small submission fee but we the creatives behind the scenes are the investors and the curators all in one. we are open to investors and donations, but we like to keep the family limited to strictly creatives. our motto is that our services are for creatives by creatives so we don’t mind paying for promotion, venues and gifts for guests. we know you’re worth it.
